The future of The Long Swim...

I really have no idea how many people even read this blog, but I've loved keeping it, and it's a nice record to have of the process of training for, and swimming, the Channel. But now that "the long swim" is over, I'm not sure what to do with the blog. Should I close it? Or redefine it?

Perhaps I'll decide when I've decided what, if anything, to do next....

  1. Hi Karen - don`t close it please! It will be interesting to future Channel aspirants I am sure - and there may be links to your blog you don`t even know about! Even if you stop updating it, it is witness to a great journey!

  3. Hey Karen, you know there are plenty of Channel blogs, which "live" for 6 to 9 months.

Few keep them going when the swim is over. But I've linked yours on my webage and I'm creating a Sandcove page also, where I've added you. so you'll just have to keep working on it.

One of the good things this year was how much I enjoyed writing mine, how much knowledge there was to impart, instead of a mundane training log.

And Google Stats in your Dashboard will show you how many views you are getting. The days around my swim the stat counter went to about 1200.I was really surprised.
